Whether you’re looking to get more comfortable with creative studio lighting, or starting completely from scratch, we offer a space and the equipment to learn virtually everything about photography and lighting. Courses ran by Josh Thomas, who’s worked with such brands as Nike, Elle, Coach, Starbucks, and many more!

One-on-one lessons

No bs marketing “lessons.” Learn actual studio lighting, high-end retouching, color grading, and more. From fashion and product to beauty and editorial, we can cover the entire process from concept to shooting and editing the final images.

We can help you reach the models you want to work with, but we cannot guarantee their availability or pricing. You’re welcome to bring your own subject to shoot if you’d like, otherwise we have access to models all over the DMV area and beyond!

One-on-one courses

Obviously the entire spectrum of photo lighting and editing couldn’t be covered in a single session. If you’re looking for something more in-depth and want to learn the complete ins and outs, we offer long-term options. We’ll start at whatever level you’re comfortable with, and help you get to the level you’re trying to get to. These plans are completely customizeable. If you’re looking for something longer than what’s offered, and would like to space them out, we can figure out hour blocks together. We’re also open to including things like photo walks, additional sessions, or whatever else you may need.
